Paulina Margarita González is a waste picker from Buenos Aires, Argentina, who began recycling after her release from prison as a way to sustain herself and her family. Her experience is deeply connected to processes of social reintegration and collective organization.

She founded the cooperative Las Pibas Reciclan to create work opportunities for women waste pickers, particularly those facing incarceration or substance-related challenges. Through her work with FACCyR, she contributes to building inclusive recycling systems and advancing the rights of waste pickers.
