Barbra Weber is a second-generation waste picker and community organizer based in Portland, Oregon, USA. Her life and work are rooted in informal settlements and shaped by a strong commitment to social and environmental justice.
As Co-founder and Co-Executive Director of Ground Score Association, she advocates for waste pickers’ rights, environmental justice, and access to basic services. Her leadership combines grassroots organizing, public advocacy, and community-based collaboration at local and international levels.
