Robinson García is a waste picker from the Dominican Republic who has been working in the sector since childhood, beginning at the age of eight. His experience is rooted in the realities of landfill and transfer station work.
He serves as President of both the association of waste pickers of the National District and the national movement, coordinating multiple organizations across the country. His leadership focuses on strengthening collective organization and representation, including at the regional level through REDLACRE.
