Johnson Doe is a waste picker leader from Ghana and the chairman of the Kpone Landfill Waste Pickers Association. He has combined his experience in waste picking with a commitment to education and leadership within his community.
He has played a central role in organizing waste pickers, including leading the first waste pickers’ cooperative in Ghana. Through his leadership, he works to strengthen collective organization and improve the livelihoods and recognition of waste pickers in the country.
